The Faculty of Civil Aviation, Mogadishu University, is inviting applications from qualified candidates to serve as Part-Time Lecturers in Civil Aviation Management:

Mogadishu University which is a leading institution in higher education in Somalia, is seeking three qualified and experienced individuals to join the Faculty of Civil Aviation as Lecturers. The candidates should be passionate about teaching and have a strong academic and practical background in civil aviation.
Position Details

Key Responsibilities:
Successful candidates will be expected to:
- Deliver high-quality lectures and seminars in civil aviation-related subjects.
- Provide academic support to students through mentoring and advising.
- Conduct research in their area of specialization.
- Participate actively in departmental academic and administrative activities such as curriculum development and faculty meetings.
- Participate in developing and updating course content to ensure it aligns with industry standards and academic goals.
Minimum Requirements:
Applicants must hold:
- Master’s degree in Civil Aviation, Aeronautical Engineering, Aviation Management, or a related field. A PhD is preferred.
- At least 3 years of teaching experience in higher education, preferably in a civil aviation-related discipline.
- Strong knowledge of civil aviation regulations, safety procedures, and industry trends.
- Proven ability to deliver engaging and effective lectures to students.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
- Research experience in the aviation field is an advantage.
