Bachelor of Laws

This program is a comprehensive which prepares students to enter a career in Law (Civil, Criminal, Human Rights, Customary and International Laws & Conventions). Students completing the program will have a thorough knowledge of the theoretical and practical scope of a range of legal disciplines. The (LL.B) program helps students develop legal drafting, legal thinking, problem solving, leadership, lawyering skills, and management of legal cases, moot courts, legal debates and other important skills. Besides, the program equips students with the ability to operate effectively in a range of early career legal responsibilities in various legal organizations in different legal cases. Throughout the program, students will acquire and develop the knowledge, skills and values based on professional competence underpinned by a comprehensive ethical base.


Program Learning Outcomes.

Upon the successful completion of the Bachelor Degree of Law, graduates are expected to:
1. Provide basic knowledge and skills needed for the understanding and analysis of problems relating to case management, lawyering skills, legal thinking and drafting skills, legal advisory knowledge and keeping of Human Rights.
2. Equip students with knowledge and skills of decision making; especially the analytical skills needed for recognizing, defining and solving legal problems.
3. Acquire the core of essential professional knowledge and competence
4. Be professionally confident paralegals, advocators, advisors and lawyers who use their knowledge and skills in the ethical delivery of services and advice to clients and/or their organization
5. Develop in students, leadership and interpersonal relations skills in legal fields.
6. Communicate clearly and logically with clients and other players in the legal system.
7. Competently draft and edit legal briefs and other documents.
8. Efficiently carry out research on any legal issues
