MU academic affairs has closed on Sunday a five-day training workshop for MU lecturers.
According to Dr. Ali Dahir, deputy president for academic affairs, the training was intended to upscale the lecturers’ skills in teaching methodology in higher education and creativity as the new academic year 2021-2022 starts very soon.
“It is a part of our strategic plan for the next five years to build the capacity of our staff members, however, we put our teaching staff in first priorities”. Dr Ali Dahir said in a brief ceremony held in postgraduate campus.
“Teaching in higher education institution is totally different from teaching in high school. The teaching process is more sophisticated as you need to produce the creativity of your students”. Dr. Sharif Osman, one of the trainers, explained.
The training workshop which convened in postgraduate campus brought together all teaching staff and faculties’ members.
