Mogadishu University’s Institutional Review Board [MU-IRB) is a committee responsible for safeguarding the rights and welfare of human subjects involved in any kind of research activity. Handles research proposals by staff and students and also from partners.
All such research, conducted by Mogadishu University (MU) and/or associated with institutions, including students, professors or done under the auspices or sponsorship of partner institutions must be reviewed by the Mogadishu University’s Institutional Review Board (MU-IRB) and approval must be obtained BEFORE the research activity starts. The projects must be reviewed at least annually for as long as it is active.
