Course Description

This course equips students with special (systemic) histology of blood, circulatory system, lymphatic tissue, endocrine system, skin, respiratory system, digestive system, urinary system, reproductive (male, female) system and special senses.

Learning Objective

  • At the end of the course, the student shall be able to:
  • 1. Describe the structure and locations of muscle tissue.
  • 2. Describe the structure and locations of nervous tissue.
  • 3. Describe the process of tissue repair.
  • 4. Explain how tissue repair can result in scarring.
  • 5. Describe the structure and locations of blood tissue.
  • 6. Describe the structure and locations of circulatory tissue.
  • 7. Describe the structure and locations of lymphatic tissue.
  • 8. Describe the structure and locations of endocrine tissue.
