Course Description

Introduction to basic computer and Computer application specific software. The course also introduces students to some of the more practical features of Office 2013, including word processing, spreadsheets, presentation, and databases. This course prepares students to write reports, analyze and chart data, and prepare presentations.

Learning Objective

  • 1. Identify, discuss and use important categories of application software: word processing, spreadsheet, database management, and presentation graphics.
  • 2. Identify and discuss software development processes and programming languages.
