Course Description

This practice provides , general workplace training supported by an individualized learning plan developed by the employer, college, and student. Also the student practice the practical of Haematology, Clinical Chemistry (2) and Bacteriology

  • 1.practice laboratory procedures of: clinical chemistry, haematology, Virology/Mycology and blood banking
  • 2.Identify the morphologic abnormalities of peripheral blood and bone marrow in: - Iron deficiency anemia - Megaloblastic anemia - Thalassemias - Sickle cell anemia - Micoangiopathic hemolytic anemia - G6PD hemolytic anemia - Autoimmune hemolytic anemia - Hereditary spherocytosis - Identify: - Lymphoblasts - Myeloblasts - Promyelocytes - Prolympho
  • 3.Practice cardiac marker, electrolytes and d-amylases
  • 4.Practice how viruses are cultured and identify yeasts and molds, cutaneous, subcutaneous and systemic mycoses
