Course Description

The course is designed to give the student a general idea about computers and the students are exposed the various aspects of data base with an emphasis on the needs of the health care management. This course is intended to give the student a basic familiarity (literacy) with computers and their uses. At the end of the course, the student is expected to have gained working knowledge with basic computer components and peripheral devices, the Windows environments, file management, applications and documents, internet Basics. The student should also gain working knowledge with MS Office components: Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. The student is expected, through the lab hours, to do several projects creating, formatting and integrating documents, spreadsheets, charts, and presentations.
