Course Description

This course is incorporates, theoretical, knowledge and clinical application of nursing intervention given to patients with medical problems in problems in any system of the body. It includes: nursing process, history taking & physical examination (general survey, vital signs, head to toe examination:- eye & ear assessment, mouth/throat/nose and sinus assessment, thoracic & lung assessment, adventition sounds, repertory pathens, breast& lymphatic assessment, heart and neck vessel assessment, measure jugular veins pressure, musculoskeletal assessment, Neurological assessment ), examination techniques & preparation, diseases of cardiovascular system

Learning Objective

  • At the end of the course the students will be able to:
  • Plan, implement and evaluate the nursing management needed by patients with common medical problems by using nursing process, history taking & physical examination
