Course Description

This course combines the following items : Revision of algebra: polynomials, equation, inequalities, real numbers: Rational numbers, irrational numbers,  and properties          Counting procedures: Factorial of a number, permutation and combination, Binomial theorem, Pascal’s triangle.  Matrices and determinants: definition of matrices, equality of    matrix: addition of matrices; multiplication of matrices;  definition of a 2×2 determinant: inverse of matrix solving,simultaneously by the inverse method: 3×3 determinant,  properties of determinant: Cramer’s rule. Probability: sample space: event; probability of an event.
