33131 Research Methodology

Course Description

The aim of this course is to equip the students with the tools of writing an academic research. Before this level, students were supposed to write only assignments which are shorter than the thesis. After studying this course students should grasp the difference of thesis to other writings like assignments, know how to select his/her subject, topic and using questioners, interviews, experiments, etc. Moreover the students should learn how to select his/her reference books from the library. They should also learn how to make footnotes and the bibliography.
Finally, the student should be capable to practically use tools with his/her dissertation.

  •  Demonstrate comprehension of concepts of research methods
  •  Identify the tools of writing an academic research
  •  Differentiate between assignments and the thesis  know how to select his/her subject, topic and formulating questioners, interviews, experiments, etc  understand how to select ,cite reference books from the library  Use footnotes and the bibliography  Apply how to formulate dissertation.
