Course Description

This subject takes into account more salient English literature in the 19th century. Focus hereby is put on the most distinguished poets of the Romantic movement and some writers of the Victorian Age. This subject examines a number of cases which was in reflection of the literature like the renewal movement and that which sought return to the past, Orientalism and the influence of the industrial revolution and imperialism.
